PEOPLE Country Magazine on the Best of 2010

NEW YORK, Nov. 23, 2010 -- This time around PEOPLE Country picks the "Best of Country in 2010" – 30 stars who made this year great. Even the worst flood in more than 50 years couldn't keep Nashville down.

In a series of portraits, readers will get an inside look at seven country singers (Lady Antebellum, Taylor Swift, Brad Paisley, Dierks Bentley, Keith Urban, Miranda Lambert and Reba McEntire) at their favorite Nashville places. All photos in this package will be auctioned off to raise funds for the city's rebuilding. From Carrie's big day and Tim's new movie to Wynona's weight loss and Brooks & Dunn's goodbye – the magazine also takes a look at the biggest stories that had fans talking this year. Plus: Jason Aldean shares the six things he's most thankful for. Blake Shelton talks about his engagement, becoming a member of the Grand Ole Opry, and his three CMA nominations.

Free holiday music from Rascal Flatts, Joe Nichols and the Indigo Girls. Also, Luke Bryan and Joe Don Rooney welcome new babies, and Trisha Yearwood shares her holiday recipes for iced sugar cookies and green punch. The issue is available on newsstands now.
