Band Performing on Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve on December 31st

NEW YORK, Dec. 9, 2010 -- In what has been one of the biggest success stories of the year, Train has earned another distinction – the biggest-selling song on the iTunes Store this year – with their worldwide smash "Hey, Soul Sister" named top song in iTunes' "Rewind 2010" year-end roundup.  "Hey, Soul Sister" has reached #1 at radio in the US and in 15 countries abroad as well. "Hey, Soul Sister" was the first single from the band's gold release SAVE ME, SAN FRANCISCO.

Earlier this month, the band earned a Grammy nomination with "Hey, Soul Sister," for Best Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocals. The Awards will be given out in on Sunday, February 13th at 8pm on CBS. They earned two Grammy Awards in 2001 for their song "Drops of Jupiter (Tell Me)."

In addition, they will finish up the year ringing in 2011 on Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve on December 31st. The festivities kick off at 10pm ET on ABC, hosted by Ryan Seacrest and Fergie.

Train's second single "If It's Love" also hit #1 this year, and current single "Marry Me" continues to move up the charts. The song is currently #11 on both the Audience and Airplay Adult Top 40 charts.

The iTunes #1 is just one of the many highlights of Train's success-filled year. In addition to taking the radio and sales worlds by storm, Train has been all over television. They have performed on the American Music Awards, the Grammy Nomination Concert, Crossroads, The Today Show, The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, Monday Night Football, A&E Private Sessions, America's Got Talent, The View, Dancing With The Stars, Live With Regis and Kelly, Ellen DeGeneres Show, Lopez Tonight and more.
