Two new acts added to Glastonbury 2017 festival line-up

Glastonbury organiser Emily Eavis has exclusively revealed to NME that Blossoms and Julia Jacklin are set to join the line-up of this year's festival.

The two new acts join the wave of others that were announced yesterday, including: The National, Lorde, The xx, Katy Perry, Biffy Clyro and more joining the previously announced headliners of Radiohead, Foo Fighters and Ed Sheeran.

Now, Emily Eavis has told NME:

“We just confirmed Blossoms for the Pyramid Stage as well, which is great. They are one of our favourite new bands from 2016. They played at Pilton Party last summer, which is our special event to say thank you to the locals.”

And we’ve got Julia Jacklin in the Park too. She’s one of my favourite new voices. Just gorgeous. So there’s two extra new ones for you that are not on the poster!”

Glastonbury is set to take place this year between 23-25 June.
