Migos confirm collaboration with One Direction’s Liam Payne

Last month we reported that Liam Payne has been working on his debut solo album with “Bad and Boujee hitmakers, Migos.

Now, the platinum-selling rappers, who released their album, "Culture" earlier this year, have confirmed collborating with the One Direction star, who is the only member of the boyband so far to have not released any solo material. Quavo from Migos said:

“I just came from a video today. My boy Liam from One Direction. We just shot that. Crazy vid. Crazy visuals. Crazy team. Cool guy, nice guy. It’s goin’ up. I wasn’t even supposed to say that. It’s gonna be a surprise though.”

Payne left Simon Cowell’s label Syco and signed a solo record deal instead with Capitol Records last year. None of the One Direction boys are now signed to Syco. At the time of signing to Capitol, Payne quipped:

“Capitol Records has an amazing history stretching right back before even Frank Sinatra and I’m really looking forward to becoming part of their story.”

Aside from working with hip-hop's Migos, the British heartthrob has also worked with Pharrell WilliamsWiz Khalifa and Juicy J.

Last October the singer teased fans with an audio snippet of music on his Instagram feed. He said the sample had been given some musical firepower by the likes of producers Danny Boy Styles and Ben Billions, who’ve also worked with Beyoncé and The Weeknd.
