Rapper and producer Sean Paul currently collaborating with Shakira

Jamaican rapper and producer Sean Paul is collaborating with Shakira.

The star has teamed up with the "Hips Don't Lie" singer for a song called "Mad Love". He said:

"I got something kind of more poppy coming in a little while, with Shakira. The song's called 'Mad Love', it's about being mad and having love, it's more sexy. It's not about love, it's the sexiness."

And Sean says it is a "dream come true" to work with the Latino star, as they have been wanting to work together for a while now. He added:

"We've always wanted to work together, and I was like, 'Yo, I've always wanted to work with you!' She was like, 'I've always wanted to work with you too!'" And I was like, 'No, I've always been told that you're busy.' And she's like, 'I've always been told that you're busy!'"

Having racked up an impressive catalogue and a huge fanbase worldwide over the last two decades, Sean Paul continues to be relevant in the global music industry with a legacy of chart topping music, including the classic "Like Glue" (2002), "Temperature" (2005) and in recent times "Cheap Thrills" and "Rockabye".

Sean Paul also dropped his highly anticipated new track “Body” earlier this year in April, recruiting hip hop superstars Migos to join him on the dance-infused single.

The star is set to head out on tour in the U.S. this month. Check availability here
