Donald Trump’s Wrestlemania tweet becomes his most popular ever

Donald Trump has caused controversy again after posting a video this weekend onto Twitter of himself attacking a CNN logo in a wrestling match.

The tweet has also become his most popular, being retweeted 325,000 times and liked 542,000.

The edited footage is from the President's 2007 Wrestlemania appearance, which initially showed him wrestling with WWE CEO Vince McMahon.

In the clip, the CNN logo appears over McMahon’s face as he is dragged to the floor before being mock beaten on the floor by Trump, with the caption #FraudNewsCNN #FNN.

CNN fired back a statement saying that it was:

"A sad day when the President of the United States encourages violence against reporters.

"Instead of preparing for his overseas trip, his first meeting with Vladimir Putin, dealing with North Korea and working on his health care bill, he is instead involved in juvenile behavior far below the dignity of the office.

"We will keep doing our jobs. He should start doing his."
