Birdy delivers stunning performance at Somerset House in London

Birdy delivered a stunning set last night (July 12) at London's Summer Series at Somerset House in London.

The 21-year-old, singer-songwriter and musician - whose real name is Jasmine Lucilla Elizabeth Jennifer van den Bogaerde - delighted the audience as she performed her greatest hits, which included: 'Wings', 'Young Blood' and new tracks from her latest record 'Beautiful Lies'.

The singer had partnered with American Express and said she was happy to be performing at the stunning location: "It's good to be back in London. Especially here at this beautiful venue."

Birdy's vocals were well-suited to her cover of The National's 'Terrible Love', one of the highlights of her hour-and-a-half long show, which ended with an encore of 'Skinny Love' and 'Wings'.

Birdy is currently working on her follow-up to 2016's 'Beautiful Lies'. She's revealed: "My music is going in a soulful direction.

"I've moved back home to the countryside and I've just been writing a lot for the new album.

"I haven't finished anything yet, I am just trying to get it together."

Birdy's set list was as follows:

  1. 'Growing Pains'
  2. 'People Help the People'
  3. 'Keeping Your Head Up'
  4. 'Not About Angels'
  5. 'Silhouette' / Running Up That Hill
  6. 'Terrible Love' (The National cover)
  7. 'Skinny Love' (Bon Iver cover)
  8. 'Wings'
