Pollstar reveals 100 highest grossing tours of 2017 so far

Pollstar has unveiled the list for the highest grossing tours of 2017 so far. 

Guns N’ Roses, U2, Justin BieberEd SheeranAdele, Bruno Mars, Ariana Grande are all among the artists included in the list.

Consisting of the world’s biggest arena and stadium acts from music, comedy, theatre and beyond, Guns N’ Roses’ comeback tour has topped the poll of the 100 highest grossing tours of the year so far, raking in a whopping $151.5m (£116,244) between January - June.

Stats show:
Total grosses for the top 50 tours for 2017 so far: 
$1.97 billion, down from $1.98 billion last year.
Total tickets sold: 
23.4 million, up from 22.6 million last year. 
Average ticket price: 
$84.40, down from $91.71 last year.
