TQX unveils new music video for ‘The Day That You Moved On’ ft. Sia

Mysterious music act TQX have unveiled their new single 'The Day That You Moved On', featuring the mega-talented superstar, Sia.

We know little about TQX, other than their name stands for TourniquetX and this is the group's debut release, which Sia has also co-written. The song is accompanied by a music video and carries a powerful message addressing the technological advances of our era.

TQX said about the collaboration: “Sia has brought the challenging nature of art into the pop world and we are honoured and excited to have her involved.

“This song speaks of the pain of breakup but also… the realization that technology can rob us of relationships, real life and the present moment."

Sia sings: "Found myself alone with nothing but a dialogue inside / Fear comes for me / Falling from the waves as if the wind [?] / What's the point of [?] failure [?] I feel like giving up / Love is always a dream for me."

TQX continues: "The unfolding reality of advancing technology is something that needs to be commented on and so we are using our songs to speak our piece.

“As an artist famed for questioning attitudes towards image and marketing by singing live with her back to audiences or with her face obscured, Sia was the perfect candidate to participate in the project.

“We are disturbed by the control that technology exerts on our lives, and social media’s power to reduce people to nothing more than cash cows."

The track is taken from TQX’s upcoming debut album, ‘GLOBAL INTIMACY’, which will also feature artists such as Daniel Merriweather and Jagwar Ma's Gabriel Winterfield.
