Kesha to perform "Praying" at GRAMMYs with host of stars during #Metoo moment

Kesha is set to join a host of stars tomorrow sporting white roses when they attend the upcoming 2018 60th Grammy Awards to symbolize their support of the #MeToo and Time’s Up movements.

The singer-songwriter will perform her hit, “Praying, which is taken off her latest album, “Rainbow”. In the track she urges her tormentor to seek redemption. The segment is set to feature Camila Cabello, Cyndi Lauper, Julia Michaels and Andra Day.

Kesha made headlines during her ongoing court battle with producer Dr. Luke after she made allegations that he had sexually, physically and verbally assaulted her. Dr Luke has consistently denied the claims against him.

Grammy Awards exec producer Ken Ehrlich said the decision of whether to wear a rose has been left to individual artists attending tomorrow's ceremony. He said:

“We’re aware of it and we’re certainly supportive of the movement, but the reality is we’re more concerned with allowing artists that we work with to express themselves and have artistic freedom.

“If, in fact, that’s part of that, then that’s something we support.”

The Grammy Awards will air live on CBS tomorrow night (January 28) at 7:30pm ET/4:30pm PT.
