Kate Middleton, the Duchess of Cambridge, gave birth to her third child this week, and today named her newborn Louis Arthur Charles of Cambridge.

On hearing the news, 'Miss You' star Louis Tomlinson tweeted jokingly: "Young Louis welcome to the world. I’ll take you under my wing lad. The Adidas tracksuit is in the post!"

Tomlinson, who met Kate Middleton, at a Royal Variety Performance last November, clearly is in good spirits to be sharing his name with the young prince. The Duchess of Cambridge was four months pregnant with the now-named Louis when they met. 

The former One Direction star is busy putting the finishing touches to his highly anticipated debut solo album, which is due out this summer. Based on his previous achievements, it should be a huge success. 

'Back To You' was certified gold in the UK and was No. 1 in 37 countries. Meanwhile 'Just Hold On' has been certified gold in both the UK and US.
