Harry Styles should play Mick Jagger in biopic says author of Rolling Stones memoirs

Pamela Des Barres has given her nod of approval that Harry Styles would be perfect to play her former lover, Mick Jagger, in a biopic based on her memoirs.

The 69-year-old penned 'I'm With The Band - Confessions of a Groupie' in 1987. The book has been re-published, and is set to be made into a movie.

Styles has regularly been compared to Jagger throughout his career, and now he is also a successful actor with his performance in the Oscar-winning movie, 'Dunkirk'.

Barres told The Mirror that her involvement in the film is increasing: "I am completely involved in the clothes and script.

“I now have way more control. I want Harry to play Jagger – he has the right look.”

Styles is currently in the middle of his highly successful world tour, which totals over 80 shows. It kicked off last year in September and is due to end in July this year.
