Camila Cabello's UK shows receive rave press reviews

Camilla Cabello took her world tour to the UK this month and played the capital, London, on Tuesday (June 12).

The reviews from the broadsheets to tabloids have been spectacular.

Even The Times gave her Brixton Academy concert 4 stars, stating: "Camila Cabello could hardly be hotter.

"Musically, however, this was a faultless performance that suggested a fast track to superstardom. Cabello's style is mostly stripped-back confessional pop, but here, beefed up by a rocky bancking band, her songs became arena-friendly anthems. She Loves Control was a masterclass in manipulation, morphing from intimate to raucous and from Latin pop to hip-hop, with a theatrical interlude slipped in.

"If Cabello continues on this trajectory, she won’t need her surname by the end of the summer."

The Guardian also gave her O2 Academy in Glasgow concert 4 stars: "Camila Cabello review - from Elvira to Havanna in goth-pop masterclass.

"She closes with her signature hit... as the slightly battered piano intro of Havana creaks into life, Cabello is haloed by footage of a huge orange sunrise: two gigantic stars for the price of one."

Local London paper, The Evening Standard also gave the Brixton show 4 stars: "After Rockabye, Cabello played the haunting Crown in the most visually arresting performance of the evening, closely followed by Into It which sampled Prince’s Kiss. Latin-tinged Sangria Wine and super-hit Havana closed; it was here where Cabello truly resembled some of pop’s all-time greats."
