Music's power couple Beyoncé and Jay-Z pay tribute to Grenfell

Beyoncé and Jay Z took their On The Run II tour to the London Stadium for two nights yesterday (June 15).

The power couple wore black, and pinned green hearts on their chests as a symbol of solidarity with the Grenfell victims during the week of the tragedy's first anniversary.

Before launching into their finale with 'Forever Young', Beyoncé turned to the audience and said: "I'd like to dedicate this song to the friends and families of the victims of Grenfell."

After the concert, Justice 4 Grenfell tweeted: "We are grateful that Jay Z and Beyonce dedicated their last song to Grenfell tonight, they said their thoughts were with the families & survivors. We are glad they wore the green heart badges that we sent over! Thank you.”

Earlier this week, Adele and Stormzy joined a memorial congregation of the survivors and family members of the victims.

Beyoncé and Jay Z play their second London night tonight (June 16).
