McFly's Danny Jones records 'Better Days' with Niall Horan

Danny Jones from McFly has recorded a song with Niall Horan.

The track is called Better Days and should end up on Jones' debut solo album.

Speaking to The Sun, Jones said: "We wrote one when he was first starting his album. It was a cool song. I don’t know why it didn’t get released. Too busy playing bloody golf with him.

“I might stick it on my album. It was called Better Days."

Jones is the first of the four McFly members to be close to releasing a solo album. The other two, Tom Fletcher, Dougie Poynter and Harry Judd have been busy on other projects since the band announced they were taking a break in 2013.

Poynter has formed a group called INK. Fletcher is now a fully-fledged children's author. Judd has competed on Strictly Come Dancing and is a health fitness expert.

Meanwhile, Horan has just kicked off the South American leg of his Flicker world tour and will be touring.
