Demi Lovato was taken to hospital unconscious yesterday. The highly-acclaimed singer-songwriter, who has been open about battling addiction and depression for many years now and using her experiences to help her fans when they go through the same battles, is currently in a stable condition, her aunt has confirmed.

Posting onto Facebook, Kerissa Webb Dunn wrote: "Demi is awake and responsive- Thank God!! Thank you for your prayers and please continue praying for her full recovery both short and long term."
