Louis Tomlinson turned to Twitter in the early hours of this morning (July 28) to let his followers know how his new judging role on UK version of The X Factor is going so far.

The "Miss You" singer tweeted: "Really enjoying the audition process. Looking forward to getting my category now!

"The support online and from the audience has been sick. You’re all fucking amazing!"

Straight after the auditions, the judges are awarded a category each from 'girls', 'boys', 'groups' and 'the overs' for anyone 28 years and above. 

It's been ten days since it was officially confirmed that the English heartthrob would be an X Factor judge, and that the new role would not affect his debut solo album release schedule. 

His former One Direction bandmates, Niall Horan and Liam Payne, congratulated him recently on his new deal.

It's not the only one Tomlinson has signed recently either, as he also has a new management and marketing team now, so fans are excited about the possibility of a new album being released in the not too distant future.
