Sofia Carson may be on vacation in Italy, but she has also taken time out to do some charity work whilst she is visiting Europe.

The actress and singer is set to appear alongside UK star Rita Ora at UNICEF Italia's first international gala in the island of Sardinia tomorrow (August 10).

Taking to Twitter, Carson wrote: "Honored to be performing at the @UNICEF Summer Gala in two days, thank you @UNICEF & @LuisaViaRoma 🖤Grazie Mille. See you there @ricky_martin @RitaOra 🖤"

It's been a busy year for the star, with filming for Descendants 3 wrapping up in July, charity work in Kenya this month, and now her UNICEF Summer Gala appearance in Italy. 

Also taking part are Alessandra Ambrosio, Ray Liotta, Miles Teller, Michelle Rodriguez, Emily Ratajkowski, Andrea Panconesi, Georgia Fowler, Martha Hunt, Nadine Leopold, Sara Sampaio, Shanina Shaik, Josephine Skriver, Keleigh Sperry, Jasmine Tookes and Tommaso Chiabra.

The charity event will raise funds to support UNICEF's work to provide care and protection to the world's most vulnerable children. It will involve performances by Ricky Martin, who is UNICEF's Goodwill Ambdassdor, and Rita Ora, as well as an auction of art, luxury items, and one-off experiences.

DJ Ruckus is set to perform at the After Party.
