Lauren Jauregui wins big at 2018 Teen Choice Awards

It was a big night for Lauren Jauregui last night (August 12), and the moment that her fans worldwide had been eagerly awaiting - the superstar turning up for the very first time at the Teen Choice Awards as a solo artist.

Not only was it Jauregui's first appearance at the ceremony without her former Fifth Harmony bandmates, but the popular music star, who has been busy in the studio writing music and working extremley hard, also took home two awards - Choice Female Hottie and the well-deserved Choice Electronic/Dance Song award for her "All Night" collaboration with celebrated DJ and producer, Steve Aoki.

Clearly grateful to all of her Jaguars, Jauregui said: "Thank you so much to all of the fans who voted, first and foremost... I love you guys so much, thank you, to my team...

"Thank you for thinking I'm hot and giving me that award... that's really cool," before adding with her usual sense of humor and infectious smile, "I know that you chose it for my brain... I know that that's why you did it. I know".

The Teen Choice Awards are the summer's hottest event and the summer’s only awards show in which teens hold the voting power to select new categories and returning favorites from past Teen Choice shows.

The event was held at the Forum in Los AngelesCalifornia, and was hosted by Nick Cannon and Lele Pons.

For two decades now, the two-hour live event has honored iconic stars from the best films, most-loved TV shows, fiercest music and the top moments in fashion, digital and comedy.
