Legendary Janet Jackson teases new song 'Made For Now'

Janet Jackson has teased a new song Made For Now.

The legendary actress, dancer and singer-songwriter has marked the end of her State Of The World tour by teasing the single's artwork on Twitter.

The new track is set to drop this Friday (August 17) and features Latin music star, Daddy Yankee.

The artwork was accompanied by this message from Jackson: "From my lips...#MadeForNow 8/17 😘Pre-Save on Spotify | Pre-Order on iTunes | Available NOW 💜http://www.JanetJackson.com".

The youngest child of the famous Jackson family has achieved an incredible seven US No. 1 albums. Only two female singers have more No. 1 albums in the US than Jackson - Barbra Streisand (10) and Madonna (8).

The superstar's first chart-topping record in the US was 1986's Control.

In 2008, Billboard placed Jackson number seven on its list of the Hot 100 All-Time Top Artists, and in 2010 ranked her fifth among the "Top 50 R&B/Hip-Hop Artists of the Past 25 Years".

In December 2016, the magazine named her the second most successful dance club artist of all-time after Madonna.
