Adam Lambert spoke to Entertainment Tonight about the pressure he feels and his thought process when he embarks on creating a new album.

The vocal powerhouse has not released a solo album for around three years but is on the verge of doing so. He said:

"Every artist, every creative artist feels pressure when putting their creations out.

"I've been purposefully taking a little time with it because I really wanted to home in on a sound, a point of view, figure out what I want to sing about."

Earlier this year he spoke to the Kyle and Jackie O KIIS Show ahead of his and Queen's tour of Australia in February and March.

The Two Fux singer has been writing music for his own solo project in between touring with Queen and has vouched to return to Australia: 'I'll definitely come back next year when I have my own music to share with everyone."

The Original High singer-songwriter has been touring with Queen on and off for 6 years now.

They start a show-stopping Las Vegas residency this Saturday September 1 until September 22.
