BTS make UK chart history as IDOL makes Top 40 debut

K-pop sensations BTS have made chart history with their single Idol debuting at No. 21 in this week's UK Top 40.

This beats their previous chart high of Number 42 set by Fake Love, and is the very first song by a K-pop group to enter the UK Official Chart Top 40.

Back in 2012, Psy’s viral hit Gangnam Style became the first ever K-pop song to chart in the UK, spending a week at Number 1.

The seven-piece boyband have also claimed their third UK Top 20 album with Love Yourself: Answer at Number 14.

The South Korean lads have really been causing a storm in music and excitement is esculating amongst fans that this is just the beginning of the group's ascention to worldwide chart domination.
