Little Mix release brand new fifth studio album titled "LM5"

Little Mix have unleashed their fifth studio album, titled LM5.

The biggest girl group on the planet, consisting of Perrie Edwards, Jesy Nelson, Jade Thirlwall and Leigh-Anne Pinnock, have revealed that this album is their most empowering yet and aimed at all women.

Speaking about their new album, Thirwall said: “This is definitely my favourite album, you can tell it’s come from us."

The British act shared a nude photo of themselves this week on Instagram, in which their bodies are scrawled with a selection of negative comments they've received since first starting out, captioning it:

"Take off all my makeup cos I love what’s under it
Rub off all your words don’t give a fuck I’m over it
Jiggle all this weight, yeah you know I love all of this
Finally love me naked
Sexiest when I’m confident.

"Thank you for being part of this incredible journey with us. #LM5 featuring #Strip is coming Friday 16.11.18"

The girls recently split from Simon Cowell's Syco Records, who they were signed to after winning The X Factor in 2011, and are "excited" about having a "fresh start". They have now moved to RCA Records, which is run by David Dollimore.

Little Mix are a global pop phenomenon, who have to date sold more than 40 million records worldwide. This includes four platinum-selling albums and four UK No. 1 singles.

Their previous record, Glory Days, is the longest charting album in the UK by any girl group in history - including the Spice Girls - spending an astonishing 92 weeks on the chart.

Their Glory Days Tour sold more than 800,000 tickets alone, which is the most successful UK Arena tour for the last two years.

Little Mix were also named the UK’s Most Watched VEVO Artist of 2017, with more than 189 million views in the UK this year.
