“Different World” vertical video by Alan Walker ft. Sofia Carson gains over 1.5M views in 3 days

The vertical video for “Different World” by Alan Walker featuring Sofia Carson, K-391 and CORSAK has gained more than 1.5 million views since being uploaded on YouTube three days ago only on December 13.

The haunting and thought-provoking song focuses on how humans are destroying this planet, yet it retains a sense of optimism that there is a chance for change as there is still time left to make a difference.

The debut title track is taken from the Norwegian producer's Different World album, which was released last Friday (December 14), and features an endorphin rush bundled into 15 tracks.

The single was released on November 30, with a lyric video that has surpassed 7 million YouTube views.

The Descendants starlet said: "I feel privileged to collaborate with Alan and honored to be the voice of “Different World”.

"He is an artist that I admire not only for his incredible talent, but for his heart. Alan Walker, thank you for bravely using your voice to empower this generation to create a different world than the one we are living in.

"To inspire change, and to inspire, above all, HOPE. Here’s to creating a Different World together."

Walker added: "This is the title track from the album. I collaborated with K-391 and CORSAK, who is a Chinese artist and producer you should be on the lookout for.

"This song is very special for me because of its important message, which is something I really wanted to shed some more light on through the release of this single and album, and through the video content to go along with it."

Carson also recently contributed the lead vocals to R3HAB's summer smash hit, Rumors.

“Different World” has been released by MER and RCA Records.
