James Vincent Mcmorrow Announces 2011 Headline Tour

Dublin's hotly-tipped James Vincent McMorrow has announced details of his debut headline UK tour. He will play London's prestigious ICA on March 2, having sold out a headline date at St Pancras Church (February 3) earlier this month. This week, McMorrow has also been nominated for a Choice Award, which recognises Ireland's albums of the year, and will see him compete with the likes of Villagers and Imelda May for the prestigious prize.

Following extensive Radio 1 support from the likes of Huw Stephens, Zane Lowe and Annie Mac, on top Dermot O'Leary and XFM, McMorrow's full UK March tour is as follows:

March 1 / Manchester / Castle
March 2 / London / ICA
March 3 / Bristol / Thekla
March 7 / Edinburgh / Sneaky Pete's

March 8 / Glasgow / Captain's Rest

James' debut album, 'Early In The Morning', will see a release on March 28 (single details TBA). It will be released via Believe Digital in the UK and Vagrant Records (The Hold Steady, Edward Sharpe, School of Seven Bells) in the US. The album has already reached number 1 in his native Ireland, and received extensive early plaudits elsewhere:
