Harry Styles Promo Posters For Adore You Hit The Streets

The second stage of Harry Styles' guerilla marketing campaign for his new single ‘Adore You’ has gathered pace, with promo posters popping up in the Brooklyn neighbourhood of New York, according to photos uploaded onto Twitter by @LlGHTZUP.

The poster artwork is in a Mexican religious style, with the singer-songwriter posing with his hands in a praying position similar to that of the traditional 'Our Lady of Guadalupe' image and has the wording: 'ADORE YOU COMING FRIDAY DEC 6'.

In October, a Twitter profile for a make-believe island called Eroda was created which fans soon realised is Adore spelt backwards.

The island's website also makes references to some of the names of tracks from Styles' upcoming sophomore album, Fine Line - notably ‘Cherry’ and ‘Golden,’ as it mentions street names Cherry Street and Golden Way. This combined with August pap shots of Styles on St Abbs, a Scottish island which look similar to the one depicted on Eroda's website, has led fans to believe that the creation of Eroda was the first stage of a viral marketing campaign.

The illustration of the One Direction star on the recent promo poster shows him wearing the same outfit (navy blue blazer, white shirt and red neck scarf) as he was photographed in whilst wading through shallow water in those St Abbs summer pap shots.

Whois.org just states that the domain registrant for www.visiteroda.com is MarkMonitor.

Harry Styles is no stranger to shooting in Scotland, as he shot scenes from his ‘Sign of the Times’ video on the Scottish island of Skye back in 2017.

Fine Line is available to pre-order here, and is set to be released by Columbia Records on December 13.
