Vanilla Ice has been signed to act in a new Adam Sandler comedy.

Titled 'I Hate You, Dad!', Vanilla Ice aka Robert Van Winkle will play the part of the longtime best friend of Sandler's character.

Sandler will star as a father-of-the-groom who lives with his son (to be played by SNL's Andy Samberg), and doesn't get along with his soon-to-be daugher-in-law.

This is not the first time the 'Ice, Ice, Baby' singer has graced the silver-screen, as he's played small parts in other comedies, notably 'The New Guy' and the Matrix-spoof, 'Helix...Loaded'.
