Bee Gee, Robin Gibb, was rushed to hospital yesterday (April 3) with abdominal pains forcing him to cancel a series of concerts in Brazil. 

Doctors have advised him that he is too ill to travel until his condition is diagnosed.

Last year, the Gibb brother, underwent surgery for a blocked intestine, the same condition which led to his brother, Maurice Gibb's death in 2003.

A spokesperson for the 61-year-old said: 

"A paramedic came out and he was taken to hospital. We are not sure what's wrong with him at this stage and are worried.

"We don't know if it is a recurrence of the previous problem or if it is something else entirely."
