Selena Gomez's "Lose You To Love Me" has now sold over 3 million units in the US.

The track was released on October 23, 2019 as the lead single from her album, Rare, which was released on January 10, 2020. The album also included her single "Look At Her Now". "Lose You To Love Me" is the fourth track on the standard edition of Rare, and the second on the deluxe edition.

The hit single marked a historic moment for Gomez, landing the superstar her first No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. It also topped the charts in Canada and Ireland, and reached the top five in many countries such as the UK, Australia, New Zealand, Malaysia, Norway, Singapore and Switzerland, as well as the top ten in Belgium, Germany, the Netherlands and Sweden. In addition, the pop ballad was her fastest song to be certified platinum.

Gomez co-wrote it with Julia Michaels, Justin Tranter and Mattias Larsson. Its accompanying black-and-white music video was directed by Sophie Muller and filmed entirely on an iPhone 11 Pro in Los Angeles.
