Jonas Brothers’ Reunion May Be Put on Hold For Now

The Jonas Brothers' reunion may be put on hold for now. The family trio which consists of siblings Nick, Joe and Kevin reunited in February 2019, almost six years after they split in October 2013, but it seems the pandemic may have altered their plans for a follow-up to their comeback album, Happiness Begins.

The news comes after Nick announced over the weekend that he's set to release a new solo single 'Spaceman' later this week, as well as host and be the musical guest on SNL (Saturday Night Live) next weekend on February 27, while Joe was recently cast in an upcoming war movie titled Devotion

In February of 2020, the lads revealed they had been "working hard" on a new album, but coronavirus then hit before they could announce it.

At the time Nick said: "It’s done, that’s the cool part, and there’s even more new music coming as well." A new album was listed for pre-order on the group's website but it has now been removed.

The enormously talented brothers took the world by storm in 2019 with the surprise release of their critically acclaimed and widely successful single, 'Sucker'. The triple-platinum track debuted at No. 1 on Billboard's Hot 100, becoming the first No. 1 for the band and the first No. 1 debut from a group this century. The band went on to release Chasing Happiness, an Amazon Original film documenting the brothers rise and return to music, before going on to deliver their third No. 1 album debut with the release of their platinum-selling album, Happiness Begins.
