Justin Bieber Set to Perform at the 2021 Juno Awards

Justin Bieber is set to perform at this year’s 50th Juno Awards, which will be held in his native country of Canada on June 6.

Bieber is also nominated for five awards at the event - album of the year and pop album of the year for Changes, single of the year for "Intentions (featuring Quavo)", artist of the year and the Juno fan choice award. It's the first time he has appeared at the Junos since 2010.

The Canadian superstar has won 7 Juno Awards (from 27 nominations) in total, previously winning pop album of the year twice, for My World 2.0 in 2011 and Purpose in 2016. He has also won the Juno fan choice award five times, from 2011 - 2016.

Bieber’s appearance on this year’s broadcast precedes his recently rescheduled 52-date date Justice World Tour 2022. The North American leg of the tour kicks off in February 2022, with Canadian stops in Toronto, Ottawa, and Montreal. The tour is named after his album Justice, which charted for two weeks at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 in April.

"Peaches (featuring Daniel Caesar and Giveon)" entered the Billboard Hot 100 chart at No. 1 in April, the same week Justice entered the Billboard 200 at No. 1, making Bieber the first solo male artist to open atop both of Billboard's flagship charts in the same week.

The 50th Juno Awards is set to be broadcast throughout Canada on Sunday, June 6, at 8pm ET/5pm PT on CBC TV, CBC Gem, CBC Radio One, CBC Music and CBC Listen. They are also set to air globally on CBCMusic.ca/junos. The show will be livestreamed on CBC Music's Tik Tok, Facebook, YouTube and Twitter pages.
