Olivia Rodrigo Debuts Her ‘Sour Prom’ Concert Film

Just before midnight, Olivia Rodrigo debuted her Sour Prom concert film in a livesteam, and it is nothing short of spectacular.

During the 27-minute long feature, the multiplatinum, critically acclaimed singer-songwriter takes us on the 'ultimate alternative prom experience' - having just graduated from high school herself – where she performs select songs from her No. 1 RIAA certified platinum debut album, Sour, including "deja vu", "traitor", "driver's license" and "good 4 u" - some tracks even feature brand new arrangements.

During Sour Prom the teenage pop phenomenon performs in a limo, on a prom dancefloor, in a darkroom, and is accompanied by a marching band on a football field.

Before the film premiered on YouTube, Rodrigo hosted the official Sour Prom pre-party, where she answered questions from fans and shared behind-the-scenes stories about the film.

Rodrigo released her debut album Sour in April. The breakout debut features hit singles "drivers license," "good 4 u," and more. Last month, she performed both tracks as the musical guest on Saturday Night Live.

Rodrigo's original song "drivers license" also debuted at No. 1 on the U.K. Official Singles Chart in January of this year, and held the top spot for 9 consecutive weeks, becoming the longest-running No. 1 debut single in the U.K. for 15 years. In the week following its January 8 release, "drivers license" garnered over 107 million global streams. The song also holds the record for the most recorded streams in a single day in U.K. chart history (for a non-Christmas song) with 2.39 million streams, surpassing Ed Sheeran's "Shape of You". The track has been certified platinum by the BPI and the music video has amassed over 187 million total views.
