The Battle for #1 Rages: 11 Year Old Soprano Jackie Evancho Challenges Eminem for America's #1 Album Next Week

NEW YORK, June 17, 2011  -- The singular race for the top of America's album charts next week is reaching a suspenseful fever pitch as DREAM WITH ME, the debut album from 11 year old soprano prodigy Jackie Evancho, goes neck-and-neck for #1 against Bad Meets Evil's Hell: The Sequel, a long awaited new album pairing of bad boy rappers Eminem and Royce Da 5'9".

Evancho, whose seasonal EP O Holy Night made her the top selling debut artist of 2010, stands in sharp relief to her Detroit-based rivals as a top contender for the #1 spot on America's music charts next week.

The blogosphere is alive with commentary on this week's chart battle with Jackie's fans weighing in on her social networking sites.

"In this corner, with a shaved head, baggy pants, and a potty mouth...Eminem!  And in this corner, with three ducks, a party dress, and personality plus...JACKIE EVANCHO!," said one fan.

"8 mile road vs 11 yr old?," posted another.  "Dad called, he wants Dream With Me not 'Bad meets Evil' for Fathers Day."

Enjoy Jackie performing "Angel" from her Great Performances special, "Jackie Evancho: Dream With Me in Concert," airing on PBS stations nationwide throughout June 2011.
