‘Adele One Night Only’ Airs on Sunday, November 14

Adele is set to give fans a special "Hello" when she kicks off her concert special Adele One Night Only this Sunday (Nov. 14).

During an exclusive new interview with Oprah, the 33-year-old British star opens up about the meaning behind the hit single, and in a minute-long snippet from her primetime special which was released on Wednesday (Nov. 10), Adele tells Winfrey the song was "the beginning of me trying to find myself, and I hadn't figured out yet what it was that I had to do for that. But when I wrote it, it was a real ode to like, little me, older me, all of these things.

"It's just a song about like, 'I'm still here.' Like, 'Hi, I'm still here, I still exist in every aspect of my life.'"

"Hello" was released in 2015 as the lead single from her third studio album 25. The song hit Number One on the Billboard Hot 100, where it stayed for 10 consecutive weeks. It also won three Grammy Awards, including record and song of the year.

Adele will be celebrating the release of her upcoming album 30 during the Adele One Night Only TV special this weekend. During the one-off event, Adele will not only be performing "Hello" but also her other much-loved hits as well as brand new material from her new album.

Adele One Night Only airs on CBS Sunday (Nov. 14) from 8:30 p.m. - 10:30 p.m. ET and streams on Paramount+.

Adele revealed to Vogue Magazine recently that her new album is her most personal release to date, saying: "I feel like this album is self-destruction. Then self-reflection and then sort of self-redemption. But I feel ready. I really want people to hear my side of the story this time."

The singer-songwriter's eagerly awaited new album, 30, is set to be released on November 19. Pre-order it now here.
