Darren Hayes has announced details of his new single, 'Black Out The Sun'.

The Australian singer-songwriter is schedule to release the track in the UK on October 2 via Powered Sugar Records.

The single is the second from his upcoming album 'Secret Codes and Battleships', which will be available on October 17. It was co-written by Swedish writer and producer Carl Falk, who has previously collaborated with Nicole Scherzinger and The Wanted.

New mixes of the track will be available upon its release, including an Orchestral version and a 7th Heaven remix.

Hayes will tour the UK later this year, starting in Liverpool on October 15 and finishing in London on October 19.
