Miley Cyrus has explained that her new album Endless Summer Vacation is divided into two sides.

The "Flowers" hitmaker has explained in a teaser clip (watch below) from her Disney special "Miley Cyrus ‒ Endless Summer Vacation (Backyard Sessions)": that one half of her follow-up to 2020's Plastic Hearts is full of "buzz and energy" and that the AM part represents the morning and the PM side is like slinky glamour and the "wild side".

The special, which is set to premiere this week on Friday, March 10, at 1 p.m. EST/10 a.m. PST/6 p.m. GMT on Disney+, will see the 30-year-old global megastar perform seven additional tracks from her eagerly-awaited album, Endless Summer Vacation, including her smash-hit lead single "Flowers," which has been No. 1 on Billboard's Hot 100 chart for six consecutive weeks since its debut. She is also set to give a special performance with Rufus Wainwright.

The multiplatinum-selling recording artist serves as the executive producer on the music-focused performance special from Disney Branded Television.

The "Backyard Sessions" are a series that she began in 2012 for her fans. Viewers were quickly taken with the experience of watching Cyrus and her band perform in an intimate, outdoor setting, and the "Backyard Sessions" quickly became a benchmark series. "Miley Cyrus ‒ Endless Summer Vacation (Backyard Sessions)" serves as a continuation.
