An exciting new training opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic indvidual to join our expanding team at Pressparty, as a dynamic Social Media intern.

ABOUT: Pressparty is a rapidly growing London-based celebrity music news website.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES:

Managing Pressparty's social networking presence and social media platforms, taking analytical information and translating it into growth.

REQUIREMENTS:

Must have previous experience and a proven track record representing a brand (even yourself) in social media and have a working knowledge of basic Web Analysis and Optimisation.

Display an understanding of social media advertising and social media usage and behaviour, including blogger/influencer outreach activities. 

Have a passion for social media and community building online, including knowledge of social media platforms and general tools of the trade such as CoTweet, Tweetdeck, bit.ly, etc.

Be able to show a proven track record of growing a substantial Twitter following.

Become a proactive advocate of the company in social media spaces, engaging in dialogues and answering questions.

Be able to plan and execute social media-centric campaigns.

Be able to excute (<-spot it) typo-free copy with speed and work well under pressure.

Possess outstanding communications skills.

Have good organisational skills. 

Be self-motivated. 

A music lover.

NOT REQUIRED BUT IDEAL: Existing music and media contacts. Evidence of an existing strong social media presence or blog. Working knowledge of iWorks or PowerPoint.
