Boy George's single is not a comeback

Boy George has insisted that his new single should not be deemed a comeback.

The 48-year-old, whose new song 'Amazing Grace' is his first major release since 2006, said that he does not have any expectations of his new material.

Asked by the Metro if the single should be classed as a pop comeback, George said, "No, I haven't been anywhere and my expectations are much lower than they used to be. I just want to get back to making records and touring. It's not an attempt to reclaim my pop crown."

The singer also revealed that he enjoyed working with Mark Ronson, who has previously collaborated with Lily Allen and Amy Winehouse. He added, "He was really nice, very into his music and very professional in the studio."
