The Pop Powerlist Spearheads 4Music’s Easter Programming

London, 25 March 2013: This Easter, 4Music is once again revealing the definitive list of the most influential stars in pop with its successful show, The Pop Powerlist. Presenter Matt Edmonson returns to reveal the 50 most powerful in people in pop music in 2013 in an exclusive four-hour show premiering on Good Friday.

2012 saw Adele crowned as pop’s most powerful person and 4Music is working with Media Measurement again in 2013 to see if she can reign triumphant for the second year. Using a specially designed algorithm that analyses celebrities’ social media fan base, critical recognition, airplay, endorsements and media coverage, the Pop Power List represents the definitive guide to the power players ruling today’s charts.

Last year Adele stole the crown, but this year there’s tough competition from the likes of pop royalty One Direction, Rihanna and Beyoncé. The Pop Powerlist airs on 4Music on Friday 29th March at 11am as part of a jam-packed Easter schedule on the Box TV channels.
