Robbie Williams named charity ambassador

Robbie Williams has been named as a new goodwill ambassador for the Caudwell Children charity.

The singer joins Rod Stewart, Elizabeth Hurley and Joan Collins as a representative of the charity formed by Phones4U founder John Caudwell.

Williams said, "I have known and admired John Caudwell for a long time, he's a top man. I hugely respect his enthusiasm and commitment to the charity, Caudwell Children, and it is my pleasure to become a goodwill ambassador."

Caudwell Children provides direct donations of therapy and life-changing equipment to sick and disabled children in the UK.
