Alesha Dixon will warm up for Pharrell Williams on an upcoming UK tour date.

The singer will open for the US superstar in Leeds on June 12.

The date will take place at the city's Leeds Arena.

Dixon posted on Twitter: "'Happy' to be supporting @Pharrell this Friday in Leeds!!! #luckylady."

The gig will act as a warm-up date before Williams plays the Isle of Wight Festival a day later.

He is set to play at a number of other festivals in Europe this summer, including the Vienne Jazz Festival and Roskilde.
