Aloe Blacc: 'I don't care if people like me or not - it's all about the music'Crooner Aloe Blacc has revealed that he isn't bothered if people like him or not because he's only in the industry for his love of music so that's all that matters to him. During a new interview with Elle.com, the 'I Need A Dollar' star explained that he shouldn't be the main focus and his songs should be what people pay the most attention to, which is what gives him such a laid-back attitude and approach to music: "My wife tells me things are different now, and I just don't pay attention. I'm just focused on other things. I'm a big believer in 'let the song lead.' The song matters. That's all I'm gonna try to do: make songs that people enjoy. Whether they like me or not, it doesn't matter." Blacc went onto add that working with Avicii on 'Wake Me Up' was an amazing experience because it exposed him to an entirely new audience and demographic: "With 'Wake Me Up' if I had tried to write to dance music, I don't think it would have been a hit. But because it was me and [producer] Mike Einzinger, a guitar, and voice creating a song, and then Avicii remixing that, that made the difference. The production helped it reach a completely massive audience." Follow us: @Pressparty on Twitter / Pressparty on Facebook. Watch a recent interview with Blacc below:
