Mitch Winehouse says he’d be happy for daughter Amy to appear on stage as hologram

Mitch Winehouse has revealed that he would be happy for his late daughter Amy to appear on stage as a hologram.

The former taxi driver, who recently released a book about the tragic star, told The Sun that he is open to the idea of using the same technique that brought Tupac back to life at this year’s Coachella Festival:

“The most important thing to Amy was the music and I’m sure a lot of people would like to hear her sing again. It depends on what Amy’s fans want as a way to keep her memory alive.

"If it’s a book, an album or a hologram, then so be it.”

However, the 61-year-old, who has also set up The Amy Winehouse Foundation since her death last year, admitted that he would find it difficult to witness such an experience:

“I can’t watch Amy on TV or listen to her songs, it’s really difficult.”
