Amy Winehouse’s stylist discusses the late star’s signature style

Late pop star Amy Winehouse was known for her ‘60s-inspired style thanks to her large beehive hair do and feline flick eye liner.

Winehouse’s former stylist, Naomi Parry, has been opening up about the ‘Back To Black’ singer’s signature look.

Parry revealed:

“No matter what she'd have the thick black eyeliner on and the beehive pinned into place. She'd feel uncomfortable without it. Once it was on, she could be herself.”

Talking to Grazia magazine the stylist also divulged that Winehouse once temporarily considered changing her hair style but quickly changed her mind:

“Before she died Amy had a moment where she was thinking of changing her hair. She was talking about getting a fringe - or a bob. It lasted about 10 seconds. She wouldn't have been Amy without the beehive. I think she was aware of that.”

Amy Winehouse died in July 2011 from alcohol poisoning.

Amy’s father, Mitch Winehouse, recently discovered a previously unheard song recorded by his daughter.
