Emmy Award winning rapper- Jabee returns with a new release, and the Oklahoma City born artist never does things by halves, as proven via this conceptual collection of EPs.

Presenting the first in a collection of four chronological EP’s namely ‘AM I GOOD ENOUGH’

The title for the overall idea was inspired by the words that Kevin Costner famously shared at Whitney Houston's funeral.

‘AM’ is produced entirely by Derek Minor, and has a variety of features including Micheal Christmas, K.O, Chuuwee, Bub Styles, Lando Chill, and others.

The result from this closely netted collaboration has created the perfect blend of songs ranging from vivid, to soulful, to straight up Hiphop (e.g. Aquimbee was inspired by OutKast’s Aquimini)

The EP embarks on a linear storyline as shown in the track listing. 

Kicking off with video No1 ‘Find Yourself’, after which you ‘Wake Up’ and have lost ‘Everything’, begging the question ‘How Many More’ times...trying to distract yourself with some fun in ‘Aquimbee’, concluding with a tasty collaboration with Jabee’s friends in ‘Eastside With Love’.

Throughout ‘AM’, Jabee is honest whilst he presents the good, the bad, and the ugly. Proving yet again that he is a true student of the game, with a genuine passion of storytelling.

‘AM I GOOD ENOUGH’

As the collection progresses Jabee won’t be holding back, with follow up ‘I’ to be produced entirely by underground legend Blu, with the promise of a lo-fi abstract overall style.

‘GOOD’ will take a different lane with production from Griselda producer Conductor Williams exploring life and spirituality with features including Boldy James and Blu.

Closing off the collection ‘ENOUGH’ sees Jabee working with Havoc, one half of the legendary Mobb Deep, and his production style will welcome more collaborations including Murs, Che Noir, and Mistah FAB.

About Jabee:

Jabee has toured with Run the Jewels, Murs, and has been featured on Sway in the Morning, MTV, XXL, Complex, The Source and Vibe. 

He has also worked with Chuck D, Atmosphere, Blu, Oddisee, 9th Wonder, Statik Selektah, and Little Brother.

Jabee has also performed at Kevin Durant’s celebrity basketball game and Russell Westbrook’s celebrity comedy show. In 2014, Jabee collaborated with Oklahoma City-based marketing agency Funnel Design Group to create, “What If?” a television commercial promoting Science Museum Oklahoma. 

The video won an Emmy for commercial writing and performance.
