Reno, NV-hailing artist MASK ANATOMICA’s latest single, ‘Rising’, is a gnarly, rock-licked take on EDM Pop with classic rock solos, a dystopic sense of futurism and scuzzy avant-garde industrial flair.

The vocalist and aerial dance performer, who made her debut in June 2014, takes her influence from Marilyn Manson, David Bowie, Alice Cooper, Led Zeppelin and Pink Floyd, borrowing their stylistic elements to blend into her eclectically charged tracks.

Rising offers the atmosphere of post-punk, the infectious pull of harsh dance-pop and scuzzy classic rock grooves. The single was recorded in Reno, NV at Lane Cameron Studios, remixed/mastered in Athens, Greece, by Manos Ventouras before its release on September 29th, 2021.

MASK ANATOMICA said:

“RISING is about rebellion; It is a song about challenging and changing the status quo - whatever that might be for people at that moment.”

Amelia Vandergast at A&R Factory said:

“The future needs their very own Joan Jett; with MASK ANATOMICA’s confrontational yet unifying MO, I can’t think of a better contender. Her dynamic disco-pop vocals bring the soul, while the instrumentals aim to perturb you to attention.”

About

MASK ANATOMICA started as a session vocalist for various producers and by fronting rock bands. Throughout her relatively short, eventful career, she has won over motorcycle gangs in biker bars and stayed committed to evolving as an artist and performer.

Her first single, LET ME OUT, was released in 2019 via the distributor AWAL. Around the pandemic restrictions, she has performed at the Berlin Underground Film Festival, Mysticon Film Festival, 2020, Florence Film Festival and plenty of other venues.

Her sophomore release is the RISING EP, due for release in September 2021. Each of the tracks extends MASK ANATOMICA’s core value, unadulterated, unapologetic autonomy.
