Histrionic cosmic soul raconteurs, Archpalatine, delivered straight from the soul grooves in their latest single, Hypnotized, which conjures the beguiling feeling of chemistry-driven encounters

Beyond the poppy earworm proclivities of the eccentrically exuberant feat of funk & soul is a rare sense of lyrical conviction as the Philadelphia, PA-hailing outfit extends their joy-filled positivity and palpable honesty on the subject of seduction. It sets an all too intriguing tone for the forthcoming album it was taken from.

Hypnotized, which will appeal to fans of Bruno Mars, Mariah Carey, and Queen alike, was written by Derek Anthony Wilson, co-written by Anthony Pompey, Ben High, and Eric Allenson and produced by Michael Trycieckyj and Derek Anthony Wilson.

Archpalatine said:

“Written in a dream on Valentine’s Day, Hypnotized represents the wonderfully woozy feeling you get when you are on the dancefloor and someone you’ve been eyeing all night gives you a taste of their amazing energy and chemistry.

We’ve all been there. And once you enter that zone, they are the only person to exist in the building. The message is one of fun, joy, and letting everyone know that some styles of music are timeless. As art forms, all songs are up for interpretation, but the feeling of timeless music is transcendent.”

Amelia Vandergast, Executive Editor at A&R Factory said:

"The after-effects of Hypnotized are just as sweet as the sonic experience itself. You’d need a considerable concussion to forget the sweetness in the vocal hooks and the cinematic old school soul that lingers in the euphonic funk-blistered instrumentals."
