The award-winning Afro Dancehall-inspired Dubai-based artist, Jindi, teamed up with Kushman and producer MasterKraft to breathe fresh fire into his dancefloor stormer, HASSA, which hit the airwaves on February 10th. The energy is a straight 10 on the Richter scale under the glossy production that raises the bar while breaking the monocultural mould.

The soulfully impassioned hit is vibrantly versatile through its myriad of progressive tone transfusions; the end result, mixed and mastered by Stormatique, will make you move while sending sun-soaked rhythmic ripples through your synapses.

After winning the best act award in 2020, headlining Expo Dubai and the Bob Marley Tribute Festival in Oman, Jindi is proving that the best is yet to come; fans of Ruger, Rema, and Wizkid will want to pay attention.

Jindi said:

“I originally wrote and performed HASSA with MasterKraft; I wanted to spice it up with an East African touch; it’s my first venture into the Sudanese Arabic sound. Hassa translates into ‘right now’, which is the hook. It translates into my love for my girl and my compulsion to give her everything she wants.”

Amelia Vandergast, the Executive Editor at A&R Factory said:

The original version of HASSA left very little to be desired, but as the ancestral roots of Jindi and Kusman converge in the remix, galvanising cultural dynamism was always going to flood through the lusty dancehall grooves.
