Today, Detroit rapper Sada Baby releases the official remix to his hit single “Whole Lotta Choppas” featuring platinum selling artist Nicki Minaj.

Produced by CoalCashBlac, “Whole Lotta Choppas” is the lead single from Sada Baby’s highly anticipated debut album. “Whole Lotta Choppas” exudes a dance-heavy energy reminiscent of the early 90’s Miami bass sound. Sada’s dexterous wordplay is on full display, delivering his signature brand of brash and comedic lyricism. “They wanna see me do my dance, in these thousand-dollar pants, don’t disrespect me and my gang, Bang! Whole Lotta Choppas on ya ass,” he proclaims on the infectious hook. The track made its Billboard Hot 100 debut at No. 92 – marking Sada Baby’s first entry on the chart. “Whole Lotta Choppas” is available now on all streaming platforms.

The music video, directed by 20K Visuals, has generated over 7M views on YouTube. Inspired by the Freaknik era, the Detroit native throws an epic house party in Miami surrounded by an arsenal of models and his Big Squad crew.

Spurred by a viral dance created by @ohbukster, “Whole Lotta Choppas” organically gained TikTok notoriety with over 5.8M videos created and 1.3B sound plays. Celebrity videos include Heidi Klum, Howie Mandel, Tyga, Tinashe and Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster.

Sada Baby is riding a successful wave of consecutive 2020 releases with Skuba Sada 2 and Bartier Bounty 2. Both projects debuted on Billboard’s Heatseekers Albums Chart with Skuba Sada 2 claiming the No. 1 spot; marking his highest chart position to date and Bartier Bounty 2 landing at No. 4. Sada recently announced his Big Squad imprint in partnership with ADA Worldwide.

ABOUT SADA BABY:

In 2018, Detroit’s Sada Baby emerged with his breakout track "Bloxk Party,” and its accompanying visual which garnered over 60M views. Soon thereafter, he became one of the first signees to ink a new deal with the newly restructured Asylum Records. 2019 marked the release of his critically acclaimed mixtape Bartier Bounty, which landed on Billboard’s Best Albums of 2019 List. Pitchfork rated the project an 8.0 stating “Sada Baby is already an all-time-great shit talker, a charming scoundrel who makes the most debased jeers seem delightful,” while Stereogum proclaimed the charismatic emcee created “2019’s first great rap album” with “wild, unstable, joyous fuckit-up energy.” UPROXX dubbed Bartier Bounty a “a low-risk, high-reward proposition and one that positions him as a talent you should definitely keep an eye on.” Sada culminated his prolific year with a headlining set at Rolling Loud’s Bay Area edition, securing a rightful spot amongst Hip Hop’s elite.

As 2020 unfolds, the meteoric rise of Sada Baby continues with the unveiling of two projects; Skuba Sada 2 and Bartier Bounty 2. Both mixtapes debuted Top 5 on Billboard’s Heatseekers Albums chart, with Skuba Sada 2 claiming the No. 1 spot upon release. Since January, Sada has released an arsenal of visuals including the undisputable street anthem “Aktivated” and The Gap Band-sampled “Slide” that HYPEBEAST calls “a dance record that retains the hard-hitting street rap that made Bartier Bounty so successful.” Sada Baby is one of the most consistent forces on the rap scene and his industry onslaught shows no signs of slowing down.
