Seddy Hendrinx reaches a career milestone this week with his Billboard chart debut. His latest single “45” featuring A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie enters at No. 40 on their Mainstream R&B/Hip-Hop Airplay Chart. “45” serves as lead track from Seddy’s recent release Sayless, out now via Generation Now / Florida Boy Entertainment / Atlantic.

Produced by Swagg Boy and Jakik, the bass-heavy banger amassed over 1 million streams on Spotify while its music video currently sits at 1.2 million YouTube views. Lyrical Lemonade praised the feel-good record stating “Hendrinx’s ability to interchange between high pitched singing and pure rapping creates an alley-oop esque collaboration with A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie.” Complex deemed the Jacksonville native a “Rapper to Watch in 2021” proclaiming “Seddy Hendrinx is a versatile artist who excels at creating emotionally-rich and cathartic music.”

Seddy’s newest project Sayless boasts an all-star lineup of guest appearances including Jack Harlow, G Herbo, Gunna, JetsonMade and 24hrs along with production from 100 Kilo, ChaseTheMoney, Hype Williams, GT3 and Democratz. During a recent interview with Travis Mills, Seddy spoke on his goal of delivering soulful, reality, street music. “I want people to listen and walk away feeling like I taught them something new,” he explains. “I’m taking my fans on a journey, from dropping jewels to getting them to turn up, this project covers all the bases.”

About

Jacksonville, Florida rapper and singer Seddy Hendrinx exercises raw emotion in each verse and every hook. Despite professing fandom for Tupac, Lauryn Hill, André 3000, DMX, Future, and Erykah Badu, rap never seemed like an option until he witnessed the murder of his best friend Johnell in 2016. Gunned down at a party, Johnell’s last words struck a chord with Seddy, “Ball out for me.” Upholding a promise to do so, he tried his hand at an unofficial remix of Bryson Tiller’s “Remember,” and it caught fire on Soundcloud. He dropped The Roots mixtape in 2017 followed by the Just Cause EP and 2018’s Death B4 Dishonor: Loyalty Over Everything.

Joining forces with Florida Boy Entertainment, Generation Now, and Atlantic Records, he made mainstream waves on the 2019 single “LOWKEY.” Over a sultry throwback R&B beat, he slides from airy freestyled verses into a slick secretive admission. Most importantly, the track set the stage for Roots 2 and a lot more “street soulful, real deal pain music.”

With his eyes set on longevity, Seddy scored a breakout year in 2020. The Florida phenom was featured on 1800 Seconds Vol. 2, a compilation album curated by platinum superstar Future, showcasing the hottest rising stars from around the country. Seddy released B.H.D. (Black Hearted Demon) in early summer which included an OMB Peezy collaboration and “Pimpin Wit Nip,” an introspective tribute to Nipsey Hussle. His newest project Sayless includes features and production from G Herbo, Gunna, A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie, JetsonMade, Jack Harlow, 24hrs, ChaseTheMoney and more.
